Registration for the 2024/2025 opens August 6th, 2024!!

Season Start Date: October 7th, 2024

This year WHMHA will use GrayJay Pay as our registration platform.  Account creation for parents can be found here: WHMA Registration Please contact registrar@westhantswarriors.com if you have any problems.

*The app is available on both Apple and Android app stores, called GrayJay Teams.

Account Credits: If you believe you have credits from last season, you must create an account so they can be applied, before registering and paying for this coming season. **If you register and pay prior to having the credit applied, it will not be usable for this year.**

REGISTRATION TYPES:

There are 3 types of registration you will see available. 

New Player - This is for players who have never played on a registered minor hockey team and have not previously had a hockey ID number or players coming from our Rec program.

Regular Registration - For all returning players. If you are new to the WHMHA catchment area, please contact registrar@westhantswarriors.com for transfer initiation.

Goalie - For all returning goalies. If you have a first year U9 player wishing to play goalie, please contact doh@westhantswarriors.com for approval.

TRYOUTS:

If you plan to register for competitive tryouts, please ensure your choose both the base package as well as the tryout package for the division.  Example: U11 - you would register for U11 Registration and U11-U18 Tryout Fee. Your selection of the U11-U18 Tryout fee option indicates your player's intent to attend tryouts for potential placement on a competitive team in the Scotia Minor League (B, A, AA teams). This fee must be selected and paid prior to tryouts.

If you do not select the tryout fee or your player does not attend tryouts, they will automatically be placed on a team at their division in the Annapolis Valley Minor Hockey League (C team).

The tryout schedule will be released closer to the start of the season. Should you have any concerns or questions regarding the tryout process please contact our Director of Hockey at doh@westhantswarriors.com

U9 Placement – The U9 placement fee is included in the U9 registration fees. The schedule for the placement will be released closer to season start and consists of 2 skills sessions and one game, run over the course of 3 evenings.

U7 – The U7 schedule will be released closer to the season start. The U7 program consists of 2 - 1 hour sessions weekly. We realize for new-to-hockey families this can feel like a long wait between registration and getting the schedule information and finally hitting the ice! Rest assured this is part of the process, however please feel free to contact registrar@westhantswarriors.com with any and all questions.
